The
African Association of Statistical Data Archivists (AASDA) as
a “sister society” to International Statistical Institute
(ISI) has been given a privilege to organize and chair one session
in the upcoming 57th ISI conference to be held in Durban, South
Africa 16 – 22 August 2009. (For details please visit :
www.statssa.gov.za/isi2009).
Accordingly, AASDA has defined a theme for its
session which goes in accordance to the main objectives of the
association. The theme of the session will be “Improving
Data Archiving and Dissemination System for a Better Access
and Utilization of Survey and Census Data”. The session
will last for two and quarter hours and it is organized to have
three to four invited speakers and two discussants.
So, this is to invite interested professionals
to be part of the session as a speaker or discussants by presenting
a paper under the theme specified above which might cover similar
topics given as an example below:
