Based on the established of the Population Census Commission, the census commission has to present the census result to the parliament be approved before the result is disseminated to the public. Accordingly, the census commission is going to present the census result on 4th of December 2008.
It is to the recalled that the results have been pressured to the census commission by the secretariat of the commission (i.e. CSA) earlier and it has been endorsed by the commission.
It is also to be recalled that the actual enumeration for sedentary parts of the country was conducted in May 2007 and the census for pastoralist areas took place in November/December 2008. This gives the census result to be released with in a year after the completion of the census enumeration.
